Pastoral Endorsement

One of my roles at Living Streams Church is marriage ministry. I love using the book Keep Your Love On by Danny Silk as a resource to help couples develop strong, healthy marriages. In the marriage covenant, we make vows to love one another. This means that love is a choice we need to make every day to have a healthy, vibrant marriage.

However, this book is not just for married couples. The goal of every relationship is connection. Danny Silk speaks in this book of what it means to be a “powerful” person in choosing this connection in every relationship. Powerful people take responsibility for their lives and choices, and learn how to be the best version of themselves in the way they interact with others.

This book has so many insights on how to develop good relational skills. As the pastor over marriage ministry, I do a lot of counseling, and I almost always refer people to this book before doing anything else. If you are looking for a book with Biblical ideas that work in the real world, this book is for you!
